OUR FOUNDATION

As a non-profit entity, the Bulk Caring Foundation will have as its corporate purpose:

  • Attend and develop humanely and comprehensively community organizations and vulnerable people;
  • Promote sustainable development through the execution of plans, programs and projects that lead to the improvement, conservation and protection of natural resources and the environment in general;
  • Construction and maintenance of civil works and perform supervision, plans, programs and projects carried out in the corporate purpose of the Foundation;
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on human rights and international humanitarian law to natural and legal persons who hold the status of vulnerable populations.

Focus Areas

The main activities of the Foundation are all focused on the environment and its protection, the improvement of health and safety conditions, the development and promotion of school education.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

The Foundation is based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations Organization.
These 17 sustainable development goals constitute the vital core of the 2030 Agenda. They take into account in a balanced way the three dimensions of sustainable development, namely economic, social and ecological.
The Sustainable Development Goals must be achieved by 2030 globally by all UN member countries. This means that every country on the planet is called to make its contribution to face these great challenges together. For this reason, the Bulk Caring Foundation adopts and pursues these objectives in the realization of its projects.

The objectives that the Foundation pursues

To this extent, we have identified four SDGs that encompass and express in a universal language the key priorities addressed by our areas of action. These are:

Goal 4:
Quality Education

Obtaining a quality education is the foundation to improving people’s lives and sustainable development.

Goal 6:
Clean Water and Sanitation

Clean, accessible water for all is an essential part of the world we want to live in.

Goal 7:
Affordable and Clean Energy

Energy is central to nearly every major challenge and opportunity.

Goal 15:
Life on Land

Sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, halt biodiversity loss.

Where we are

The Foundation is based in Cúcuta (Colombia) and operates throughout the Colombian national territory.
